The RAI is the largest complex for trade fairs and congresses in Amsterdam and annually hosts large trade and public fairs including the PLMA, Hiswa, Horecava, Huishoudbeurs, Provada and IBC. King of Exhibition Stands has a lot of experience in building and setting up exhibition stands on this beautiful location located along the ring road of Amsterdam.
In 2018, more than 1.8 million people visited the amsterdam exhibition and congress centre or rai’s foreign events. In addition, 405 (inter)national events took place in RAI Amsterdam. New events included Money20/20, the European edition of a world event focused on payment and financial services, and Amsterdam Drone Week. The RAI launched this last event together with the European aviation organisation EASA. With the arrival of this title, the city of Amsterdam wants to profile itself as Drone City.
The Interclean, Intertraffic and METSTRADE events, like most other titles of their own, were once again a success. In addition to economic value for the city, the RAI also creates social value by involving local suppliers, sustainable business and contributing to good initiatives in the city. At every rai’s own event, sustainable innovations will take full stage in the InnovationLAB and during AIDS2018, the 22nd edition of the world’s largest health conference, not only the RAI, but the entire city of Amsterdam was completely immersed with activities.
The rai’s vision for the future is still under development. The starting point is to better integrate the RAI complex into the surroundingarea to create a safe, attractive and enjoyable environment for customers, visitors, employees and city-dwellers. Part of the plan is to reduce the number of logistical movements, especially around the dismantling and dismantling of major events. An initiative that King of Exhibition Stands wholeheartedly supports.
At the fairs below, we provide services such as floorcoverings or raised floors, the installation of stand building or exhibition walls, the installation of visuals, furniture, lighting or av equipment such as TVs, monitors and LED screens.
